So Long Summer

What an amazing summer!  We were lucky to get out have some fun adventures in the Adirondacks and across the Northeast.  I took on few projects this summer because I wanted have fun and help out 15-LOVE during one of their busiest times.  I look forward to fall and the sessions that are already getting booked!  #gratitude #followyourdreams #qualityoverquantity

Serving up Summer Fun

Summers are typically busy at 15-LOVE as I found out.  Between the Tennis Program and the Healthy Living Program there were a lot of curious and high energy kids to engage.  I feel lucky to use my marketing/communication skills to help this amazing organization make continue to make an impact in our local communities by helping under-served youth receive access to educational programming that will improve their chances of a brighter future.  Not too mention they are supportive of me building my business, so I am incredibly grateful to have the best of both worlds.

Many Hands Make Flights Work Project

This past spring I completed a project for the Albany Airport Authority called Many Hands Make Flights Work. This employee portrait project focused on 12 airport employees who are carrying out important work that help keeps the airport running. These are just a few of the faces who assist with Operations, Custodial, Parking, Airfield, Building Maintenance and Curbside Security.

This was a fun project to do as portrait photography is my favorite, so I was thrilled at the opportunity to get behind the scenes to photograph these subjects. I am more excited to finally be able to share these images.  Each subject were give the opportunity to approve their images for marketing use, so I had to wait for the gallery to be installed. The gallery is located at the top of the escalators before you enter security and is across from the Dunkin Donuts and will be on display for the next 6 moths.

Third Birthday with this little one

It was a pretty summer day for the third birthday of this little one who I have been photographing since she was a newborn.  We get together a couple times a year for some family portraits.  Every fall, we get together and spend time on their family farm for portraits

For her summer portraits, she was surrounded by lots of loving family including her great grandmother who recently turned 99.  So this session was about capturing the family moments at this little one's lakeside birthday.  It was a windy day, but I think we ended up some good shots.

Summer photos with the Uccellini Family

I am always grateful and excited when I have clients return for more family photos. I first photographed this gorgeous family for some fall photos last October. As you can see, they make my job pretty easy as they are super photogenic. Their darling daughter is a ham and has perfected her 'cheese'  for the camera.

Summer portrait Session with the Smith Family

I met this mom in my former days at SUNY Poly and our paths crossed again when I was working as a newborn photographer at a local hospital.  She had just given birth to her darling daughter. Since then I have had the opportunity to photograph this family and watch their children's personalities blossom. We met up last fall for a session at Thacher Park and their I witnessed the children's love of sticks.  They used them as light sabers and swords with each other.  I was in awe of the sister's spunky personality and fierce determination to hold her own with big brother.

We met up again this summer for a session with them and their extended family. And once again, they found some sticks and had a good time playing with each other. Well, until there was one stick left.
